Prof. Dr. Vladimir M. Cvetković (Visiting Professor) is a member of Safety and Disaster Studies (SDS) working group at the Montan University of Leoben. Founder and President of Scientific-Professional Society for Disaster Risk Management, director of International Institute for Disaster Research and Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Disaster Risk Management. Employed at the Department of Disaster Management and Environmental Security, Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade, where he teaches the subject Disaster Risk Management.

National and international awards and recognitions:

  • The Danubis Young Scientist Award (2017) from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy and the IDRE for the best young scientist from Serbia
  • The “Local Expert” for Serbia in the field of disaster risk management by the international consortium CIMA Research Foundation
  • Awarded for being the top student of his class at the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies

- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering (Saint Petersburg Mining University) with a focus on the operation and maintenance of transport and storage facilities for oil, gas, and refined products.
- International MSc in Engineering Geoecology (Montanuniversität Leoben, TU Bergakademie Freiberg, and Saint Petersburg Mining University) with a focus on the processing of mining waste.

Harald Raupenstrauch (Univ.-Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. techn.), studied process engineering at Graz University of Technology, Professor and Head of the Chair of Thermal Processing Technology and Head of the Department of Environmental and Energy Process Engineering at Leoben University of Mining and Metallurgy, Head of the PANK university course and the associated Master's course in Safety and Disaster Management, several visiting professorships in the USA, UK and the Netherlands. Recognised expert with numerous publications in the field of thermoprocess technology and process and plant safety.
